Jerry Crasnick reports that Major League Baseball is looking into Jonathan Papelbon’s crotch grab from yesterday’s game. Which, yes, I get, because you can’t really have the help doing, well, that to the paying customers. Even the ones in Philly.

In reality, though, I bet if Papelbon is suspended or fined it will be due to his interaction with umpire Joe West after he was thrown out of the game, not the crotch grab. Though, to be fair, we don’t have a lot of crotch grab precedent in Major League Baseball, making predictions hard.
