Baseball Roundup: Goetzger helps himself in South River win – CapitalGazette.com
Keaton Goetzger went 1 for 3, scored two runs and was the winning pitcher to lead South River past Stephen Decatur, 8-6, on Saturday.
Chris Loverdige knocked in three runs and Camden Duncan drove in two runs for South River. Brad Marceron had a hit and an RBI and Jahan Caster had two hits for the Seahawks.

OLD MILL 13, ARUNDEL 5: Savione Barnes had three hits, including a double, and drove in four runs as the Patriots cruised past the Wildcats on Friday. Hunter McKean knocked in a pair of runs, Kyle Baldwin went 4 for 4 and Bryce Jackson recorded three hits for Old Mill. Jeremy Arocho and Kenyatta Williams both had two hits, with one being a double for Williams, and drove in a pair of runs. Jared Matthews drove in two runs, Matt Moon had two hits and an RBI and Mack McKisson had two hits for the Wildcats.

HOWARD 4, NORTHEAST 3: AJ Moya doubled and drove in a run while Kenny Miller went 3 for 4 with an RBI, but a late rally fell short for the Eagles as they were defeated by the Lions. Braiden Ryan, Billy Driscoll and Eric Walters each collected two hits for Northeast while Tyler Green had an RBI.

AACS SPLITS DOUBLEHEADER ON EASTERN SHORE: Matt Sowinski came on in relief of Josh Murray to toss a scoreless inning as the Eagles defeated Holly Grove Christian School, 8-7. Andrew Sowinski, Brandon Cochran, Cal Anderson, Isaac Miller, Murray and Will Bickhart each drove in a run for AACS, which won despite committing eight errors.
The Eagles then traveled to face Parkside and the Rams walked away with a 10-1 victory. Kyle Kress had the only hit for AACS (4-2), driving in Steven O’Farrell for the Eagles’ only run.
