“Mr. President, you’re from Queens. You may fool the rest of the country, but I’ll call your bluff any day of the week,” the freshman Democrat tweeted. 

“Opening an impeachment inquiry is exactly what we must do when the President obstructs justice, advises witnesses to ignore legal subpoenas and more,” she said.

Ocasio-Cortez said Sunday morning on ABC’s This Week that Democrats have a “very real risk of losing the presidency to Donald Trump.” In the same interview, she renewed a push to begin impeachment hearings saying the pressure to impeach grows every day. 

Trump selectively quoted Ocasio-Cortez’s interview, tweeting he “agrees” and his potential win is “the only reason they play the impeach card.” 

At least 61 Democrats are calling for impeachment.
