Majority of every segment of white voters approves of Trump, except one: Poll – Washington Examiner

President Trump has majority approval among every segment of white voters except for college-educated women, according to a new poll.

The Fox News survey conducted July 21-23, found that 63% of white men with no college degree and 57% of white men with a college degree approve of the way Trump is handling the presidency. White women had a lower approval of Trump overall, but 55% of white women without a college degree said they approved of him.

White women with a college degree, however, largely disapprove of the job Trump is doing as president.

Only 34% of that demographic approve of the president, compared to 63% who disapprove. The results from white women with college degrees pushed Trump’s overall approval among college-educated white voters into the red, with his approval sitting at 46% among those surveyed.

The poll found that a slim majority of all voters disapprove of Trump’s job performance, with 51% disapproving and 46% approving. That is one point higher than the last time the poll was conducted earlier this month.
