Brian Skerry has been intrigued by the ocean ever since he took a course in scuba diving as a teenager. He turned it into his day job by becoming a nature photographer specializing in underwater life. His work is now featured in the exhibit “Sharks: On Assignment With Brian Skerry” at the National Geographic Museum in Washington, D.C., running through October.
