The reason why eight soccer players were disciplined at Summit Country Day remains a mystery Monday.
The eight players were not permitted to take the field last Thursday against Seven Hills.
Summit Country Day will not say why the players were disciplined, only that the roster for Tuesday night’s game will reveal which players are still on the team.
Summit Country Day would not comment about whether the disciplinary measures stem from a hazing incident during a team trip to Philadelphia.
Police said they have no record of any complaint involving the soccer team.
Summit Country Day is the defending State soccer champion and this year’s top-ranked soccer team in Ohio.
